bmi trailers are looking to recruit a Senior Production Manager

Your new role;

Be responsible for a team of process engineers, team leaders, and production operatives

Plan all production activity and manage daily work schedules to deliver production KPI’s Lead the departmental business improvement plans Have responsibility for all operational and material costs including budgetary control

Liaise with other departments to ensure the smooth running of the production line

Responsible for the entire facility, planning, directing, and coordinating the activities and resources necessary for the manufacturing of products in accordance with cost, quality, and quantity specifications.

Continually challenge targets for on-time delivery, output, quality, waste, and other KPIs

Responsible for all production, quality, and delivery issues to ensure they are investigated and an acceptable outcome is reached by working with relevant departments

Recommend or implement measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, product quality, and/or efficiency.

What you will need to succeed;

You will have experience within a fast-paced engineering environment

You will have excellent leadership and delegation skills with a track record in motivating teams to achieve KPI's.

Experience working to tight project timelines is also essential.

A relevant 3rd level qualification

Previous experience managing a team You will have excellent communication skills

Remuneration:

This position ranges from £35K - £45K depending on years' experience and background
